Terrace One Bedroom at The Cosmopolitan | Las Vegas

Room Review: The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas
View from balcony in my Terrace One Bedroom at The Cosmopolitan

What to do, what to do. Nothing like having a travel dilemma for the Fourth of July. Stay at home or go to Las Vegas? Well, that’s easy — go to Vegas baby! I booked my trip right before heading off to Europe and we left on July 2nd to spend the holiday weekend in Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan. Here’s my Room Review: The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

Although we had booked a 460 sq. ft. City Room, since we are Platinum Marriott members, I discovered something unexpectedly fantastic while browsing the hotel’s website. Since The Cosmopolitan is a member of the Autograph Collection from Marriott, we were given an automatic room upgrade upon arrival with the special VIP check-in team and a late check out of 2 pm on the day of our departure. Our new room was the Terrace One Bedroom, 610 sq. ft. with a king-size bed and tons of amenities including a kitchenette with a microwave and Sub-Zero mini-bar stocked with everything, you’d possibly want for your stay in Las Vegas as well as two large HD-TV’s. For extra privacy, there are telescoping doors tucked away that close to allow for extra privacy.

Let’s start with the large, luxurious bathroom with double vanity, large toilet area with the most amazing wallpaper, and a separate shower and tub area the size of a small apartment! Hotel rooms vary depending on where you stay of course, but no matter where you are, you may find that you take at least one piece of inspiration from there that you may want to apply to your room back home! Whether you’re deciding to add forest wallpaper (or any statement design) to your bedroom walls instead of it being plain or you’re thinking of getting a vanity table similar to the one in your hotel room, there’s quite a lot to be inspired by when it comes to hotel rooms. The living area came equipped with a comfy sofa, a television, a desk, a coffee table, and a cute rug. If you happen to be looking for a new rug to help put the finishing touches on styling your home, then you might want to consider Bazaar Velvet, get your Bazaar Velvet new coupon codes and deals now, and your home could look as fancy as our hotel room!

How about that view from the most spectacular Japanese soaking tub might make you never want to get out of the tub!

The best part of the Terrace One Bedroom possibly with large scale bedroom sets was the oversized 110 sq. ft. private terrace overlooking the Bellagio fountains. After opening the sliding glass doors out to the balcony, you can sit on the outdoor furniture or simply admire the view. Who doesn’t love a good balcony? Although, I’m sure if you asked some people they’d say that they much prefer to have something like a composite deck to relax on instead. But each to their own. The balcony did give us an amazing view though!

I dare you to stand there and not become mesmerized with the panoramic view of the Strip that includes many familiar sights such as the Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, and Paris, as well as the High Roller observation wheel!

Nighttime views from the balcony were incredible, including on the Fourth of July as we sat and watched the fireworks from over Caesar’s Palace. This room easily the best view I’ve ever had while in Las Vegas. Overall, the room was better than I could’ve ever expected and the service, from the Concierge who helped arrange transportation to and from the airport before we even left Boston to the VIP check in and everyone in between, was phenomenal. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Cosmopolitan the next time I’m in Las Vegas.
