Not everyone can say that they are passionate about their lives or their jobs. I am incredibly fortunate to be at a place in my life where I can say that I am completely happy about my life and my job. After all, I get to travel frequently and write about my experiences. What could be better than that?
People ask me all the time how I am able to afford to travel so often. Although I would love to have Starbuck’s every morning, manicures and pedicures weekly, and eat out every night of the week, the truth is that while I am at home I lead a frugal life. My modest lifestyle at home translates into the ability to travel the world more often. The truth is that I feel the most alive when I’m on the road and discovering the world through the eyes and stories of the people that I meet.
All of my opinions are my own and I am never influenced by an advertiser or supplier, including but not limited to cruise lines, hotels and resorts, airlines, or products. If I am writing about it, you will always receive my honest opinion about it. The majority of my travels are funded exclusively by me, but there are times when I am offered a discount or part or all of my trip is covered by a tourist board or company. When this happens, I will always let you, the reader, know that this is the case. I write all of the posts on this site with the rare exceptions of guest posts and no posts are influenced by any of the aforementioned suppliers or advertisers.
Giveaways on the Travel Shop Girl website are solely offered as a gift to the readers of the site. Usually, I seek out a partnership with a company who then offers to provide a special discount or free package for my readers. I receive no funding from these kind of promotions – unless otherwise noted within the Guidelines and Rules section of the giveaway. At times, I accept sponsorships on various sections of the website, as these relationships help to fund Travel Shop Girl’s website and my travel content the absolute most. If there are ever posts that are sponsored, they are always disclosed at the bottom of the page.
If you ever have a question about a tweet, post, promotion or about the authenticity of something, please feel free to ask me anytime.
