Have you noticed that I love to travel, explore new places, and meet new people? My friends and family do as well. But traveling can be hard on the wallet, especially when you might want to stay at a nice hotel. Who doesn’t want to save money on hotels when they travel?

For travelers who feel the same way, there’s some good news. The travel publication Cruiseable has just announced a rewards program that can save you up to $250 per year on your hotel bills at more than 400,000 hotels and resorts around the world.

Called the Travel Lovers Rewards Club, the idea developed when Cruiseable co-founder, J.D. Lasica, began taking more cruises and found it was better to stay at a hotel for a night or two before the ship’s departure.

“We found that there were hotel deals to be had if you made the right partnerships,” says J.D. “This really is the best bargain in travel right now.” J.D., for example, recently saved $215 on a two-night stay at the five-star Conrad Hilton Istanbul.Click To Tweet If your saving money on your hotel, make sure you are proactive and compare exchange rates using an anz fx rate calculator in order to maximise your saving abilities.

By partnering with the wellness company SuiteBreak, Cruiseable is able to offer Travel Lovers Rewards Club members access to lower rates at more than 400,000 hotels around the world, including Hilton, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriott, Sheraton, Ramada, Hampton Inn, and Mandarin Oriental, to name just a few.

Members to the Travel Lovers Rewards Club can join and try out the benefits for three months for free. After that, the cost is just $2.99 per month or $29 per year. There are no other obligations, catches or gimmicks and you get to save money on hotels when you travel.

Here’s how it works: After you join, Cruiseable sends you a private registration link. Whether you use your laptop, desktop, or mobile device, members can search destination cities and then sort the results by biggest dollar savings, biggest percent savings, hotel ratings and other criteria. As part of the program, you’re instantly awarded $250 in “Wellness dollars,” which can be applied to lower your hotel room fare. You can then book it online and lock in your savings.

The process is similar to online searches powered by Booking.com or Expedia, yet the savings are greater in the Travel Lovers Rewards Club, thanks to wholesale agreements with pricing that can’t be displayed to the public.
