If you travel internationally, then you probably either have or are shopping for a global adapter. I recently had the chance to try the Lewis N. Clark Global Adapter with USB Charger and I wanted to let you know what I thought about this adapter. Lewis N. Clark is a must for anyone looking to travel. Their designs “focus on making any trip more organized, secure, comfortable, and convenient. ”
While you definitely need a global adapter if you plan on traveling around the world, I was looking for one with a USB charger. I’ve had global adapters before and many are bulky, clumsy, and poorly crafted resulting in broken chargers left all over the globe. The Lewis N. Clark unit is lightweight and measures all of 4 inches x 2 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches and comes in three colors: white, black, and baby blue.
The compact all-in-one unit includes the four most common global plug configurations and two type A USB charging ports. With the multiple configurations available, you can use it in more than 175 countries, including most parts of Africa, Asia, Europe (both standard and recessed outlets), the Middle East, New Zealand, North America, and Russia.
Although I was traveling domestically on my Two Chicks and A Road Trip Northeast road trip, I was excited to try out my new adapter. Additionally, as Danielle is from the UK, she was needing a way to charge items in the US. I loved how small the unit was and how easy it was to pop into one of the pockets in my backpack. But the best part was that I could charge my phone and other USB powered devices with the built in dual USB charger while the adapter was in use. There are even light indicators to show that the USB ports are in use.
If you’re planning a trip abroad and have more than a few items to charge, I highly recommend the compact, lightweight, and durable Lewis N. Clark Global Adapter with Dual USB Charger for your trip. I know mine will always be in my bag ready to hit the road with me at a moment’s notice.

While Lewis N. Clark provided me with a complimentary global adapter to try out and review, all opinions on the above product are my own.
