Carnival’s Carnival Breeze Is Getting Ready for Thanksgiving with a 50-foot Inflatable Turkey and Donation to Feeding South Florida
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Carnival Cruise Lines is gearing up in a “big way” for the Carnival Breeze’s arrival to Miami on November 21. To celebrate, the line is placing a 50-foot-tall inflatable turkey atop the ship and presenting a charitable donation to Feeding South Florida that will provide 137,500 meals to families in need throughout the region.
Decked out in a straw beach hat and colorful Hawaiian shirt, the 1,250-pound fowl is scheduled to be displayed on Wednesday, Nov. 21, in time for holiday festivities. The oversized bird will sit 14 stories above the waterline and gaze toward nearby McArthur Causeway until just before the ship makes its inaugural sailing from Miami Thanksgiving Day.
On Wednesday, Carnival will also present a charitable donation to Feeding South Florida that will provide 137,500 meals to families in need throughout the region.
The new 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze — the largest Carnival ship ever homeported in South Florida — arrives at PortMiami Wednesday, Nov. 21. Following a two-day introductory cruise that departs Thanksgiving Day, Carnival Breeze will launch year-round six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from Miami Saturday, Nov. 24.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope I can get a glimpse of the huge turkey while in Miami! 🙂
Maybe you should ask the turkey to perform your version of “Can’t Touch This” with you. Now that would be fun to watch!!
Please take a pic! I would love to see it!
